ABOUT PLOTAREA

One outline.
Transparent arithmetic.

Plotarea is one free calculator for a simple polygon’s enclosed area and boundary length from ordered local x,y coordinates.

It keeps inward corners and the supplied boundary order. Exact decimal geometry checks prevent a crossing, touch or overlap from becoming a misleading footprint area. The labelled diagram and edge table help you review what the numbers describe; they are not a survey or scale-drawing service.

Local and bounded

Calculation takes place in the browser without an account, map, upload, location request or browser storage. Optional Copy, Text and CSV actions create local reports. Refreshing restores the example. Read the original method and worked examples for assumptions and limits.

Advertising preparation

Publisher metadata and ads.txt are included for possible later host-specific setup. This release has no active advertising, consent-management or analytics loader. Preparation does not establish Google approval, ad serving, measured visitors or earnings.
